Day 2 - 208

This has been a rough day. Despite the fact that I'm down 2 lbs. from yesterday(mini woot!), I went to get fitted for my tux today. A day every man dreams of...it was not the exciting experience I had hoped to savor. To try and keep it short, the lady said that the pants she was giving me were between 32-36(32 is my current goal) and that I should try them on without her actually measuring my waist. I thought they looked good and I had to tighten them. I pegged myself at approx. 34 but she made a comment about them looking tight and me needing a 38 which made me look like Andy from Shawshank Redemption with the button up shirt. They looked like I was wearing giant sweats! She said I could wear the other ones if I didn't mind the fact that they looked like they were too small for me. So my choice is Emo groom or MC Hammer Live at Pala Mesa. There were other words said but those were the ones that crapped on my day. Was a little bit discouraging but I'm trying not to let it get me down. On the plus side, we're down 2 lbs., swam today, gnarly hike tomorrow morning before Tina's wedding, and the picture is slightly better than yesterday's(good for all of us.) Although I apologize cuz it will take a while before it's a pleasant site, and there isn't much I can do about the face, so let's make that the next blog and try to ignore it for now.
BTW...This blog has got to be the smartest, stupidest thing I've ever done. Thank you guys for your support commented and otherwise. It is appreciated. I promise to try to be funnier tomorrow.
